Kirk and Spock "Brothers Under the Sun" Music Video by Trek fm

Few Star Trek characters have been as close to one another as Kirk and Spock. More than just captain and first officer, these characters were family. “I had a brother once. I got him back,” Kirk said of Spock in Star Trek V.

To highlight this relationship, YouTube user Indrikhole has put together a beautiful music video set to Bryan Adams’s “Brothers Under the Sun.” More than just an assembly of simple clips, this video combines scenes with artistic and typographic overlays that bring out the depth and history behind Kirk and Spock.

TrekPropGuy Goes on a Musical Away Mission with Jonathan Coulton's "Red Shirt" by Trek fm

Last year The Ready Room’s Greg Harbin set clips from Star Trek Nemesis to Jonathan Coulton’s “Nemeses.” Now YouTube user TrekPropGuy has put another Star Trek twist on a JoCo tune with “Redshirt.”

As you might expect, it’s a tribute to those unfortunate members of the landing party whose fashion sense was not Fate’s cup of tea. Great music and great clips equal landing party fun.

But just a bit of advice guys. When you see Nomad in the turbolift, back off. Nice and slow.
