It’s been ten years since the last episode of Star Trek: Voyager aired. With the exception of convention appearances, the world of Trek no longer consumes the cast’s lives. Here’s a look at what the actors and actresses behind the Voyager crew have been up to over the past decade.
Kate Mulgrew (Janeway)
Kate has been a busy lady! Not long after Voyager’s end, she returned to her theatre roots for Tea at Five, a biography of the life of Katharine Hepburn, to whom Kate is often likened. Most recently onstage, she fulfilled a lifelong dream of playing Cleopatra in the Hartford production of Antony and Cleopatra. Mulgrew has also been making regular appearances on film and television. She made a cameo as Admiral Janeway in Star Trek: Nemesis and, in 2010, returned to the silver screen in The Best and the Brightest, a comedy starring Neil Patrick Harris. On TV, the self-proclaimed dramatic actress has branched out into comedy with the role of Kove on NTSF:SD:SUV—she plays the sex-crazed leader of the San Diego crime-fighting task force. She also returned to the sci-fi genre with appearances in the last handful of episodes that concluded season two of Warehouse 13.

Robert Beltran (Chakotay)
Like Kate, Beltran reimmersed himself in theatre. He’s been active with productions in Los Angeles and starred in Solitude,Boleros for the Disenchanted and Devil’s Advocate. He’s also made several appearances on the HBO show Big Love.
Beltran has married since his Voyager days and has a 10-month-old daughter, Marlena.

Tim Russ (Tuvok)
Russ has stayed involved in acting, with his most notable role being on the kids’ show iCarly. He’s also done voiceover work on Sym-Bionic Titan, an animated show on Cartoon Network, and played the role of Frank in all 35 episodes of Christina Applegate’s sitcom Samantha Who? from 2007 to 2009.
Besides his acting talents, Russ is an author and musician. He published a children’s book and CD combo called Bugsters! in 2008. Onstage, he stays busy playing gigs in Los Angeles with his band, the logically named TR Band.
Roxann Dawson (Torres)
Since Voyager, Dawson has focused less on acting and delved into the worlds of producing and directing. She’s directed multiple episodes of The Mentalist,The Closer,Heroes,Crossing Jordan, and of course Star Trek: Enterprise, amongst others. She sports producing credits for Crossing Jordan and Cold Case.
Robert Picardo (The Doctor)
Picardo’s played guest roles on a vast number of programs over the last 10 years. Most recently, he reunited with Kate Mulgrew for an episode of NTSF:SD:SUV. He also had a recurring role on Stargate: Atlantis, where he spoke the last line of the show.
Picardo has embraced the power of the Intarwebz and started a YouTube channel series called Ask Alphonso. Alphonso, the wine-sipping, Italian cousin of Picardo, answers questions about love and relationships.

Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine)
Jeri has stayed incredibly busy in front of the camera. She’s been a series regular for such shows as Boston Legal (with William Shatner), The O.C.,Shark,Body of Proof, and Leverage. She also made an appearance on Warehouse 13, but not alongside Mulgrew; Ryan’s episode occured earlier in the season.
In 2007, Ryan married Christoper Eme, a French chef who owns Ortolan, a restaurant on 3rd Street in Los Angeles.

Ethan Phillips (Neelix)
Phillips has a long list of roles he has played since Voyager on imdb.com. Most notably to Trekkers, he was in Star Trek: Of Gods and Men, an Internet film that features a near all-Trek cast. He has also made recent appearances on the soap operas Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless.
Robert Duncan McNeill (Paris)
Like Roxann Dawson, McNeill has done less acting and more directing and producing. He’s directed episodes of Desperate Housewives,The O.C., Dawson’s Creek, and, of course, Enterprise. He serves as executive producer for his latest project, Chuck, which is in its fifth season. He’s also directed several episodes of the series.

Garrett Wang (Harry Kim)
Since Voyager’s end, Wang has acted sparingly. His most notable appearance to Trekkers was alongside Enterprise cast member Anthony Montgomery in Why Am I Doing This?, a comedy about struggling actors in Los Angeles. Perhaps the movie was too true to life for Wang, because instead of acting, Wang has instead focused more on doing Trek conventions, so much so that he became the director of the Trek portion of Dragon*Con in 2010.
Jennifer Lien (Kes)
Since departing from Voyager, Jennifer Lien has withdrawn from the acting world. She has instead focused on her family (son Jonah, three dogs, and husband, filmmaker Phil Hwang) and has been taking classes to become a nutritionist.
Scarlett Pomers (Naomi Wildman)
Besides growing up on the set of Reba, Pomers has developed her talents as a musician, model, and photographer. She released a CD in 2010 called Insane and regularly plays live at venues in Los Angeles. She showcases her modeling and photography talents on her official website.
At age sixteen, Pomers developed the debilitating illness anorexia nervosa. She sought treatment for the illness and has talked extensively about her recovery in interviews. She raises funds for the National Eating Disorders Association with her charity, Arch Angels, to spread awareness of eating disorders.
