Why did the Borg appear on Enterprise? How could the Romulans have cloaking technology in the 22nd century? Did the NX-01 seem more advanced than the 1701? These are just a few of the things that many Star Trek fans cite as continuity problems surrounding the missions of Captain Archer and his crew. Could there be simple explanations that make it all fit together?

In this episode of Warp Five, hosts Floyd Dorsey and Jeffrey Harlan are joined by Star Trek Horizon creator Tommy Kraft to explore in-universe explanations that might just make Star Trek’s prequel series a bit more palatable.
