There are few races in Star Trek as iconic as the Klingons. Introduced in the first season of The Original Series, the warrior race remains as relevant as ever over fifty years later playing an integral role in the latest entry in the franchise, Discovery.

In this episode of Standard Orbit, hosts Ken Tripp and Zach Moore talk the Klingons' ever-changing appearance from Kor to T’Kuvma, if the franchise may have gone too far in explaining out-of-universe production aesthetics in-universe, and how the Klingons are forever tied to the Romulans.

Also, Zach proves to be prophetic in his prediction of a certain starship's appearance in Discovery's season finale. Unintentional spoilers for Will You Take My Hand?, which aired the night after we recorded this podcast!
