Inspired by the well-known TED Talks—which have covered Trek in the past with George Takei and J.J. Abrams—CBS is setting up a series of "Trek Talks" to provide an entertaining and educational forum for discussion of how Star Trek had influenced our world. Taking place at conventions as well as other locations such as museums and even NASA facilities, Trek Talks will cover topics ranging from technological advancements to racial and economic equality … and beyond.
